CONSTRAINT : portrait reflection in foil mirror is deformed by turning screws spaced regularly behind.
INVENTION : metaphormoses (c. 1981).
WORKS : collected in 896 Têtes ramollies (1989). Less systematic deformations of female nudes have been made by A. Kertesz using a circus mirror (1930s), and by B. Brandt using an extreme wide-angle lens close up (1950s).
